Earrings Susanne Friis Bjørner – New Balance shoes – Lindex coat – Max Mara fur collar – Quay sunglasses
Every time we travel I try my best to explore as much as possible and Paris was no exception, we spend our last day at Chataux de Versailles. I have been here once before but, loved getting the full day to really explore the palace itself and the equally impressive gardens and surrounding smaller palaces.
I am wearing my favorite Susanne Friis Bjørner earrings, these are so simple and dainty and go with everything in my wardrobe so perfectly. Get yours here!
Alex and I have this running joke about renting the tackiest transport we can find (think Segways, quads, el-scooters ++) and the moment we realized they did golf carts at Versailles we were all in. In all honesty thought, it’s not the worst tip if you are going to Versailles to rent one, it lets you see so much more of the area around the palace. While on our little golf cart sightseeing we spotted this gorgeous little gazebo outside of Marie Antoinette’s smaller palace, these photos are coming soon.
I have such a big backlog of photos from the past few weeks, and editing them all is taking some time, but trust me they are coming. So stay tuned. Have a happy Sunday everyone!

The prom season is approaching fast! There’s a million reasons to love beautiful dresses, but this prom season I am loving these 3 trends. I wanted to give you guys some inspiration on what to wear whether you are going to a beautiful summer wedding or wanting to look picture perfect for prom, so check out these amazing gowns. Here are my three favorite trends:
Something I have noticed especially these past few years is how the prom and wedding guest dresses seemed to go from very over-the-top to a more refined and simple styles. There are so many beautiful dresses that have simple yet classic designs, and what’s fun about these dresses is that you have more room to play with the accessories! I also find that the minimalistic dresses I buy I get more wear out of, because you can style them in so many ways. When I shop for event type clothing I always try to keep in mind that whatever I end up with should work for other occasions as well.
I love a good lace dress, whether it’s a long one (like the one above), short one or that the lace is simply in the details. Is a great way to make a casual dress more formal and this season there are so many to pick from! I find that most times whenever I wear a lace dress, I hold back on the accessories because the lace is often a statement of its own. I particularly like the peek-a-boo lace, sometimes it’s just sticking out from the bustier part of a dress, and sometimes only the shoulder part of the dress is lace regardless, it’s a fun and classic way to show a bit of lace.
A lot of times people automatically think that prom equals long dresses, but if you decide to take a fashion risk and go for a shorter version you can play around with so many different styles. Another good thing to keep in mind for these shorter options is how well they transition. Going to a summer wedding this summer? perfect, these short dresses make for a great piece to wear over and over.
Oh, and don’t forget shorter dresses are way easier to dance all night in!

Everyone who read Fashion Conspiracy knows my endless love for handbags. There is something about a high quality bag that can elevate an look instantly. So when Rue la la approached me to do a post about handbags and how to care for them, I was thrilled. I have wanted to give you guys some tips and tips regarding handbags for example how to store them, handbag care and types. I think the reason why I love handbags so much is how they transform a look. I typically wear my more pricy handbags with a 20$ H&M dress, and voila the entire outfit looks more expensive!
My favorite type of bag is most definitely the tote bag, it stores everything you could want in one bag. As a student I need enough room for my notebook, planner and MAC. That is some of the reasons why I really liked the Prada Saffiano Lux tote. For those days I am bringing more than usual to class I switch to the slightly larger Michael Kors jet set tote, such a spacious bag at a great price. Also, if you are looking for this type of tote and want something in between the Prada and the Michael Kors, this Tory Burch Robinson bag is perfect!
I also really like the tote style for travel, it is a great way to get all your essentials on board.
Although I love the tote styled bags, I must say that my favorite all time bag has to be the Chanel Classic Flap bag. It is such a timeless handbag that I feel goes with everything. I tend to use it if I am going out for dinner with friends or for a date night with Alex. I would probably never use this bag downtown, so for nights out I typically use my Michael Kors trio handbag.
Also had to include this red crossbody bag from 3.1 Phillip Lim. It’s the perfect pop of color and it is surprisingly spacious, I can fit a large sunglass case, wallet, phone, lipstick and some makeup (for extra space inside the bag, simply unzip the sides!). The leather is durable and the bag does not scratch easily. Looking at it now, I think I tend to choose handbags that are made to be more durable, both the caviar leather on the Classic flap, as well as the Saffiano leather on the Prada handbag are super user friendly. It is not that kind of leather that your keys will ruin the look of the bag.
So, on to some of my handbag tips:
1. When storing your bag, stuff it to maintain the shape of the handbag. I usually use foam, but I recently discovered these genius base shapers that maintains the shape of the bag and avoids bag sag!
2. Avoid storing your handbags in direct sunlight. I typically do not store them in their original box, but rather in their dust bag. If you bought your bag used or it did not come with a dust bag, most department stores sell them or maybe if you ask nicely you can get one for free from the designer. You could also protect the handbag by using a pillow case as a dust bag!
3. For more delicate leather types, make sure you purchase some leather care products to maintain the look of the bag.
4. Handbags made of natural fibers and leather handbags should also be stored in a climate-controlled area.

If you are like me and can’t stop thinking about these gorgeous Dior double pearled earrings, but your student wallet cant justify the 500$ price tag, then I wanted to tip you about these equally gorgeous earrings from Glitter (This store only exists in Scandinavia) for å percentage of the price at only 69 NOK (10$)
Here are some of my favorites from Sheinside.com for summer. I especially like the Piano dress and the all white dresses, super simple but still with a twist. Which one is your favorite? Hope you guys have a great Friday so far!
